  1. ADA/504 Coordinator

    In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the City of West Haven will not discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities.

  4. Corporation Counsel

    The Office of the Corporation Counsel provides daily legal advice to City employees relating to the discharge of duties, defends lawsuits and other claims, collects back taxes, and negotiates labor contracts.

  5. Housing Authority

    The West Haven Housing Authority operates 4 senior housing complexes, composed of 517 apartment units, across the City.

  6. Human Resources

    The Department of Human Resources issues beach parking stickers, and offers reservations for the Savin Rock Conference Center.

  7. Information Technology

    The Department of Information Technology is responsible for all computer operations, data processing and phone systems for the City of West Haven.

  8. Inland Wetlands Watercourse Agency

    The Inland Wetlands Watercourse Agency enforces all provisions of the Inland Wetlands Act and issues with terms, conditions, limitations or modifications, permits for all regulated activities on inland wetlands in the City of West Haven

  9. Mayor’s Office

    The mayor meets regularly with department heads and serves as a nonvoting member of the City Council and the Board of Education.

  10. Personnel and Labor Relations

    The Department of Personnel and Labor Relations is responsible for the administration of all personnel and labor relations activities.

  11. Public Works

    The Department of Public Works and its various divisions provides a safe and secure environment for our residents; regulates and administers a wide variety of cost-conscious, crisis-responsive, 24/7 public services; and protects the City’s interests in hiring outside contractors from initial bids to project completion.

  12. Purchasing/Risk Management

    The Purchasing Department is responsible for the procurement of goods and services lease agreements, bids and contracts.
