West Haven Interagency Network for Children (WHINC)
The System of Care’s goal is to provide support services to West Haven’s children, adolescents and their families through collaboration.

The WHINC meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at City Hall, 355 Main Street. Programs include parent and adolescent support groups, after-school and evening activities, such as karate, bowling and special events, and a summer program. All activities and programs are for families and children with special needs. For information on our collaborative, visit our website.

  • Adolescent Support Group for adolescents with special needs meets the last Tuesday of each month at City Hall, 355 Main Street. For information, call Karen Muro at 203-937-3565.
  • Autism Family Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at City Hall, 355 Main Street, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For information, call Robert Morton at 203-937-3633.
  • Parent Support Group for special needs children meets the second Monday of each month at City Hall, 355 Main Street, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For information, call Karen Muro at 203-937-3565.
