WEST HAVEN, May 22, 2017 — Elements, “the ultimate Earth, Wind & Fire tribute,” will headline the 36th annual Savin Rock Festival, performing a deluge of hits spanning the musical genres of rhythm and blues, soul, funk, disco, pop and rock.
The event, established in 1982 by the West Haven Chamber of Commerce to bring organizations, clubs, businesses and families together, pays homage to the legacy of Savin Rock Park.
The four-day festival will kick off Thursday, July 27, in Old Grove Park with a midway of games, rides, music and, of course, boatloads of mouthwatering seafood.
The hours for all the ingredients that made “the Rock” famous are 5-9 p.m. Thursday, July 27; 5-10 p.m. Friday, July 28; and noon-10 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, July 29-30.

Thursday, July 27: The RumRunners | 7:15 p.m. (Party Rock)
Friday, July 28: Turbulence | 5 p.m. (Connecticut’s Favorite Party Band)
Friday, July 28: The History of Rock & Soul Starring Pauly and the Goodfellas | 8:30 p.m. (The Ultimate Show From the Gangstas of Soul/Rain Venue: WHHS)
